So, what is a Health Expo? A Health Expo is an exciting Health event that promotes a healthy lifestyle for all people at any age, utilizing a dynamic and revolutionary healthy lifestyle system wholly based upon nature’s simple remedies of Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest and Trust in God. Using these themes, participants in a Health Expo gain practical knowledge and experience in operating and managing their healthy lifestyles.

Started in the 1980s at Weimar Institute in California and reshaped in 2000 at Wildwood Lifestyle Center in Georgia, Health Expos in the Northeastern Conference was further refined by Elder Anstey and Marilyn Small in 2009 as an evangelistic tool to arrest the attention of the public, church members and the news media in an area of common interest—how to have better health and greater longevity.

The Health Education Resources (H.E.R.) Health Expo Program has been successfully used in America and many other countries around the world and is a particularly effective opening tool to transition the public into an evangelistic series. Besides being used in public screening programs, the Health Expo concept is also used to highlight church and corporate health-emphasis days and weekends, camp meeting health programs, and health fairs. Health Expos have been conducted in public shopping malls and church settings alike and its goal is to teach and encourage participants to live a healthy, full, and wholesome lifestyle while enjoying excellent physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
