Walking in the Word.

The goal of this initiative is to encourage and challenge each believer to memorize and apply one Bible text every week. Each month we will have a theme and we will memorize the texts under that theme; the New King James Version of the Bible will be used. Listen in on the Global Prayer Line, each Thursday at 6 am as we go through these texts. The number is (712) 432-0075, pin code 607372#.

Theme: How to Master Anxiety and Worry

#1, Philippians 4: 6-8 “Pray with Thanksgiving”

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

#2, Matthew 6:25-26: “Look at the Birds”

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"

#3, Matt 6:34 “Live One Day at a Time”

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

#4, Exodus 33:14 “Practice the presence of God”

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” “And the LORD replied, "I will personally go with you, Moses. I will give you rest — everything will be fine for you.” (NLT)

#5, Psalm 34:9-10 “Fear or Reverence God”

“Fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.”
